Job Description
The business leader we are looking for will be required to lead the business from the front and will be a go-to person for management for the development of GIFT city International business. The following are the primary responsibilities though will change with the growth of the business and as business leader he will be expected to stay dynamic in the changing environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and financial targets. He should be able to understand the operations of the GIFT city.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding process to build a high-performing team.
- Drive business development activities to attract clients and expand market presence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for management and key stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and guidance to different teams within the organization.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that promotes innovation and growth.
- Act as a liaison between IFSC GIFT City and international partners, clients, and regulators.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the international financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of international businesses, with a focus on Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs), family offices and HNIs.
- Previous experience working with international exchange (INX / NSE IFSC) or stock brokers preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth.
- Must be good at technology to drive things digitally.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to financial services.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
