Job Description

Responsibilites:

Research Report Creation:

  • Lead the creation of in-depth research reports to support investment decisions for PMS and AIF portfolios.
  • Research reports for the BUY side institutions.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, economic indicators, and company fundamentals to generate actionable insights.

Team Leadership and Hiring:

  • Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of analysts responsible for designing portfolios and publishing research reports.
  • Provide guidance and direction to analysts to ensure the quality and accuracy of research output.

Single Point of Contact (SPOC):

  • Act as the primary point of contact for model portfolios and research for proprietary business, PMS, AIF, and domestic institutions.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand research requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Client Servicing:

  • Serve domestic institutions by providing research reports and insights to support their investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring timely delivery of research solutions.
  • Customising reports and portfolios of the clients.
  • Supporting clients in optimising existing portfolios.

Digital Marketing Support:

  • Provide input and ideas to the digital marketing team for creating flyers and promotional materials based on research insights.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing efforts with research findings to enhance client engagement and brand visibility.

Requirements:

  • CFA or equivalent degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • NISM certification for PMS, Research Analyst, and Investment Advisor.
  • More than 7 years of experience in leading a research desk, preferably in a PMS house.
  • He should have used Bloomberg, Reuters, ACE terminals for research.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing research teams and delivering high-quality research reports.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret market data and trends accurately.
