We are a leading stock broking company based in India, specializing in serving Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) and high-frequency trading (HFT) firms. With robust infrastructure and a successful track record, we are looking to expand our presence internationally.
We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in UAE and other key markets. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in onboarding FPI clients and cultivating relationships with HFT firms. This role requires extensive knowledge of trading products and technologies, as well as a thorough understanding of regulatory compliances across different jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new FPI clients in Singapore and other targeted markets.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the financial industry, including HFT companies.
- Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and seminars.
Requirements
- MBA or equivalent degree with a strong academic background.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on onboarding FPI clients.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in other foreign languages is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of trading products, financial markets, and technologies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliances related to FPI investments.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Established network within the FPI and HFT communities, particularly in UAE, UK, Europe, Mauritius.
- Prior experience with reputed brokerage firms or financial institutions (e.g., Nuvoma, Edelweiss, SMC, ESSTEE, Share India, Globe Capital).
