We are a leading stock broking company based in India, specializing in serving Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) and high-frequency trading (HFT) firms. With robust infrastructure and a successful track record, we are looking to expand our presence internationally.
We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in Singapore and other key markets. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in onboarding FPI clients and cultivating relationships with HFT firms. This role requires extensive knowledge of trading products and technologies, as well as a thorough understanding of regulatory compliances across different jurisdictions.
KRA
- Identify and onboard new FPI clients in Singapore and other targeted markets.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the financial industry, including HFT companies.
- Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and seminars.
Requirements
MBA or equivalent degree with a strong academic background.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on onboarding FPI clients.
Excellent command of English; proficiency in other foreign languages is advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of trading products, financial markets, and technologies.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliances related to FPI investments.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Established network within the FPI and HFT communities, particularly in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China.
Prior experience with reputed brokerage firms or financial institutions
